more than what i expected and my son is happy too as they are service centres in India too and comparably cheaper here than in india .Would reccomend the site for any sort of shopping as it is secure and safe .Amazon is amazing!!!!

Connected to pc expecting a lengthy format process but was pleasantly surprised to be led straight into the registration process. Always reassuring to register a hard drive because as we all know, Should the unthinkable occur, It's nice to know that the manufacturer will help out. The drive is virtually silent in use. Connected to my Media Player and entrusted with many of my favourite files, The seagate powers down when it should, Wakes up when it should and transfers data streams with no problem whatsoever. It is truly portable and no effort is required to move around the house if neccessary and set up elsewhere. I am planning to purchase the 2tb version due to the good experience i have had with this one. The Seagate Expansion drive coupled with Western Digital's WD TV Live media player are two of my better ideas for updating my entertainment world.

I got this as i wanted to have a place to back up all my movies/music for moving house. It did the job brilliantly and without a problem. There has not been an issue yet and it runs very quietly when turned on which is great. For such a good price i have to say i completely reccommend buying this hard drive. It is faster than my old Mybook hard drive and runs quieter aswell.
Basically, buy it, its good.

very simple to use...plug and play external hard drive.......excellent for backing up data, storing films and photos etc.....
The drive has an auto power off energy saving function which is very good, silent operation and 1TB of storage for a fantastic price....happy to recommend...would buy another but with this much spare storage I should be okay for quite a while.....five star *****
