Was looking for something cheap to listen to music as my laptop's internal speakers are very quiet.
These are perfect. Plug and Play. Good length lead. Sound quality is pretty good and they are loud enough for bedroom use.

I had been looking for a pair of speakers of reasonable quality to connect to my desktop PC without an external power supply. After reading comments from other buyers I decided that these would fit the bill. They were simple to connect and sound good without any distortion at normal volume settings. Recommended!

Quality speakers for the price they are easily good enough for music, gaming and video while on your pc. The sound that come's out of them is solid with a bit of bass at low to mid volume levels which is perfect for pc use.
Build quality is solid and they look good too.
They are worth double the price easily.

These have excellent sound for their size. The only drawback is they have no on/off switch. They do have a mute button but when I restart my comp the sound is back on. Not a prob in the daytime but a nuisance when the babe is asleep and I forgot my sound is back on.

I bought these speakers so I wouldn't need an extra power socket and the idea to plug them into USB works fine. They produce a decent loudness to fill my tiny room, but for larger halls or making your own dance floor I'd find them insufficient. And the sound controls don't work very responsive there are buttons instead of knob.
It was a huge quality step up after I plugged these in. Much more bass and more quality treble compared to my standard laptop speakers. I was rediscovering most of my songs as they all got some extra fidelity. However, you could feel some distortion in the songs which have a good quality instrumental part (eg. a piano solo) especially if you want them to play with little sound on.
To sum up, if you have only 10 pounds budget for your speakers, these are the ones you should go for.
