Nice little product March 17, 2010 Michael Witbrock (Austin, TX USA) The flip tripod is a nice, usable, and compact product. It takes up almost no space, so you can take it anywhere, like the flip. The only defect, really, is the extra packaging, and the variety of coloured feet. It's hard to bring myself to throw out the extras, even though they're useless, and they're cluttering my life.
Priced well and works well with Flip March 14, 2010 Amanda L. Diehl I am in a class where I need to record counseling "sessions" and the Flip Tripod works well for this purpose.
a little light, but a good product overall March 12, 2010 Sahil Ramani (LA, CA) Got this as part of the deal running in December where I picked up this and the charger free with the Flip.
Pros : Lightweight, easy to place on any surface.
Cons : Some stability issues, plasticky feel.
Small but does the job March 3, 2010 Anthony Martinez (San Jose, CA) This is obviously not a professional tripod. Comn people, it's $15!
It's very versatile and works on most surfaces. Would I suggest it to a friend... yes!
It does what it says and does it well.
Don't waste your money! March 2, 2010 N. Pellegrino I don't like to write negative reviews unless I feel strongly, but this tripod is not worth the money at all. I bought it for a class where we have to tape conversations a few feet away, so I thought it would be perfect, but first, the mount on the flip is off to the side, so it leans to one side and while you can account for that with the legs of the tripod, the legs on this tripod are barely flexible and the black paint comes off on your hands and flakes all over the tabletop that it is sitting on.
I tried to return it, but it was going to cost 5 dollars to return it and it was too much of a hassle. I'm disappointed in this product and in amazon. Don't waste your money, buy a better tripod for less money elsewhere.
