Nice compact and bright. Focused beam is bright and battery life is good. Three nights with this light running an average of 6 - 8 hours each night and the beam shone bright and consistent.

Maybe I got a lemon... The light shows a crack-shaped shallow when shining on a flat surface. After some cleaning and inspection I didn't see any crack at all so I'm not sure where it comes from. I thought LED light usually gives off white color light but this one I got also has patches of yellow... On the plus side, it is pretty bright for a little guy. I would have kept it if it cost only $5 but it is definitely not worth $23!
Perfect for camping June 8, 2008

I camp alot and this is may favorite LED handheld. It is small,powerful and fits in the hand nicely. The beam it sends out is focused like a spotlight. The batteries last a LONG time. I have had it for about 2 years and have only changed the batteries once. It has been dropped several times but still works like a charm. I have not had any clip problems as stated in another review. I will be buying 2 more for my sons. I rate it 5 stars easily.

Princeton Tec makes great flashlights, and this is no exception. It's a small, compact, extremely handy light. I didn't expect much in terms of ligth output, but it's actually surprisingly bright for an led flaslight. Battery life is great.

It lights your way as advertized.
It feels great in the hand and when both are busy, it fits between my front teeth just fine.
I manage a country lodge and have been keeping my Impact in my left front pocket,hooked to the top, all the time so it's handy when a thing needs a fix in the shadows and, as it turns dark sooner, it's there as the night falls and my animals need to be tucked in or a guest needs a light.
This is the Impact's WEAKNESS=the nice clasp, tab, hook thing has broken rather soon with no clear reason. I have asked Princeton if their warranty will cover the problem; but no response. So it goes.
